Pretty sure I fit marked enemy in there somewhere too. įor the final ability I usually use vengeful grief. But anyways, personally I find the most effective ranger is one designed to take the most advantage of the stormcaller bow. You're sort of posting in the wrong forum to get the best replies. I usually leave my pet behind with the party, close to the wizard to protect him as needed. Or, is it really not that significant, the speed increase?Īre there any other pet abilities I should get for sure? Or is it completely dependent on my play style. Fast attacks with my good sword, super fast attacks with my awesome stiletto. Should I get it? It speeds up attack speed. If they don't pursue, I can always sneak back and maybe take them out with a few more of those shots. If they pursue, they should already be substantially weakened by the time I bring them to my friends. Sneak in, shoot them from across the screen, and run away. Does that increase with level? Or, does it stay flat there? If it scales with level, I could see that being really useful. 9 seconds is a relatively long time, and 60 points of damage really isn't that much. But, it only does 60 points of damage, and that is over 9 seconds. For instance, the envenoming ability seems like it would be great, theoretically. Now, I'm trying to decide what to pick next. So far I've picked resilient companion, and interrupting blows, since those 2 abilities seem like absolute must haves. I figured that I would primarily use him as a ranged fighter, diving in to the melee when necessary. I've just recently begun playing again as a ranger, and I'm enjoying it.
